Guild wars 2

A game that has been delayed more than any other i can think of and it still is not out. Although i do not mind this because i know that every day it is getting better and better,the proof of this is in the constantly uploaded videos. This game for me feels like a leap forward and i am about to explain why.

This game is a free to play, beautiul game that in my mind cannot be beaten for an mmorpg. If you have never heard of it that does not matter because i will sum up this game in a way that you fel you are an expert on it. This game is a mmorpg that is based in a magical world that includes both stealthy and brutal classes.There are assassins, engineers and necromancers, and another 5 more classes, all that is unique. It is set in a time where you can be whoever or whatever you want, and don’t feel like an outsider, from what i have seen this game posesses uniqueness in both pvp and dungeons. The game has been designed for everyone, you can be a casual gamer or a hardcore gamer,  or even a bit of both and it is things like this that stack up to make it the game of the future. But soon it will be the game of now as it has gone into closed beta mode and we all know what comes next, open beta, then the game is released. Did i mention it was free to play? Yes it is and it is such an amazing game that i would pay to play but luckily i don’t have to.

But i would like to focus a bit on the art style as it is great in ways you don’t think of, it allows good, interesting graphics and at the same time you do not need the best computer int he world, but you will need a good computer to play it on max settings. But i will be fine with it not on max settings. The characters, beats and cities are all made in this art style, and for me it is a personal favourite, even the loading screens look amazing, and don;t even get me started on the character creation.

But finally i think it is fair to say that this game will not dissapoint, but sadly i can not list the good and bad features untill it is out, but when it is released i will re-review it and you can learn even more about this gobsmacking game, your friend.

Grand Theft Auto 5

This is the latest game to be announced in a very popular and unique series, Grand Theft Auto. This game series is well known for it’s good graphics, good player interaction and the shere fun you can have from roaming the streets. I have to admit that when i first got the last Grand Theft Auto i did not jump straight into the game, i played around with it and had some fun, killed people, tried cheats and giant guns, but then i thought i would give the main game a go and i had even more fun. The game gives you a feel of involvement and you feel like you are somebody and make a difference in the world, this is rare and i love games that do this to you, they make you feel involved…

Now to talk about some of the rumours in this game, but as this is a game that is not yet released i have decided to just stae some rumours and not include the advantages and disadvantages of this game as i can not really know any. Now for the rumours

• There is the possibility of GTA 5 featuring revolutionary speech graphics
• It’s Los Santos and the surrounding countryside – and a very big map
• People are hoping that it will be al lot more like Skyrim, infinete quests
• Many people have high hopes for the graphics, they are suppose to be great
• The interactivity is suppose to be better, this is coming from people i know

But to be fair that is all i know, i have scowered the internet and all i can find is the same information repeated, they are keeping a tight lid on this game and obvioulsy do not want facts to be leaked, i will make sure to keep you posted on the facts of this hopefully great game, i am sure you anticipate it’s release as much as me.

Sad News

I am sorry to say that on saturday morning my laptop broke, this resulted in me not being able to get to a computer today, i will now only have internet access one or two times a week and as a result i am no longer able to post as frequently as i did before, i apologise greatly and hope all will be back to normal soon, who knows, for the mean time i may choose somebody to help run the blog, comment below if you are interested.

Some Information

Within the next few days i plan to review Grand Theft Auto 5, this game is not yet released but i am going to scrape up as much information as i can, sadly it will not be able to go up on the chart until it is released but i will review it again when it is released and put it on the chart.

Also, i have decided to add a MMORPG chart to my charts page as i really like MMORPG’s and see them as a different type of game that deserves to be reviewed separately to the other games.

These processes will all take part within the next few days so make sure to tune in and keep an eye out for them.

Kingdoms Of Amalur Reckoning

Hi again and thank you for reading my blog, for my next post i am going to be reviewing Kingdoms Of Amalur Reckoning and i am sure you will enjoy it…

What a game, what a RPG, i mean it is so hard to find a decent RPG these days as so many are made yet so little are good. If you have not played this game or even heard of it i am sure you will know plenty after this review as i am doing a very detailed review for this special game that i think is one of the most enjoyable games ever to have been made. I am going to talk about the features this game holds and the ways in which it is special and worth playing keep reading and you will know of a RPG worth playing.

I am firstly going to talk about the main feature in this game, the combat, the best thing in the game for me is the combat and if you like combat games this is for you. The combat is so fluent and flows so well, not once in combat do you pause and change weapons or spells, this is because you have everything you need when you go into a fight, you can easily access all spells, all weapons without taking time out of a battle and ruining the moment. If you are like me you must have been annoyed when you got Skyrim out of the case and found yourself changing spells and weapons every 2 seconds, this took time out and made battles long and straining, i am not saying Skyrim is a bad game i am just saying that this was not the main feature for Skyrim, Skyrim is a beautiful game in which there are many puzzles and problems to solve, you do not find yourself in combat every second as you are travelling and admiring the scenery on the way to dungeons. But back to Amalur and how this game was made so good when it was not originally planned is beyond me, Reckoning was created to set a back story for the MMO that is currently being created, this game has set my eye on the MMO aswel and i am sure that was the purpose as well as seeing what attention the world will get. I have not completed the game yet but from what i have seen the story is great, you get a feel that you are making a difference and changing the events of time in this world, this could partly be because of the cinematics and how it puts your character into them and you feel like your character is there in the center of attention not drifting on the edges of war. I am going to tell you about the world a bit, it is great for the player on the game as there is problems to be solved everywhere, i also feel that there is a community feel to the game, you do not feel alone, you feel like you have friends in the game and you form relationships with the characters around you. Finally i would like to talk about the classes, there is no strong hybrid class in this game which in my opinion is good, my reasoning for this is that you are either stealthy, strong or magical, you are not a bit stealthy and a bit magical, this means you get set armor, set moves and a set frame of mind as to who you are.

Now, as every game has its advantages it has its disadvantages, for this game though there are little, but one for me stands out a bit more than others. This is the graphics, this is the weak point in the game for me but i understand the reasoning for this, and i do not blame them. The less time they spend on this game, the more they can spend on the MMO, i can’t wait for the MMO and i would rather that be the best game than this be the best game, anyway this game intended to set a back story and it did, we now know about this world and how it came to be how it is and i look forward to finishing this game and finding out more about this game. But that is it, i struggle to think of any more disadvantages of this game, please contact me if you can think of some as i cannot and would be intrigued to see what you can come up with.

Assassins Creed Revelations

A game where you can run up walls, on roofs and assassinate people without a care in the world, i am of course talking about Assassins Creed Revelations. This game is great, it is so special to me as i was always searching for a game with this much freedom, you can go anywhere you can see and this is what makes a game appeal to me and i’m sure, many of you. A game like this cannot go unnoticed as it has created such a name and most people have heard the words ‘Assassins Creed’. There are many Assassins Creeds and each one brings a new element to the table, whether it be landscape, moves or just characters i wait for every new Assassins like it is a mini Christmas.

I would like to talk to you about one thing in particular, the time setting, it is so right for this type of game, it is so sly, mysterious and gives of a strong feel like you where there. The language is one thing that is great in my eyes, i mean when you think Assassin, you think of this accent, i mean you would not view the game the same without this accent, remember ,it is the little things that make a game unique and attractive. I also think the landscape is great, i mean a boring, flat area would not seem very sneaky if everything was visible for miles, this is why mountains were included i suppose, because they are very mysterious things are mountains, you always think there is something watching you when you are near mountains. But back to the time setting, it is set in a time where this could happen, we were advanced enough for smoke grenades and hidden blades and guns, but not quite the stage where guns were great and lots of people had them. The guards barely stand a chance  which makes the game a lot more fun as you can focus on other tasks, like capturing an important man or escaping someone. All in all i believe that Assassins Creed Revelations, and in fact all Assassin Creeds are games worth buying and remembering for the uniqueness that they carry.

Advantages-

• Unique time setting
• Great missions
• Great landscape
• Great feel from playing the game
• Lots of fun from even the little things
• Active, living towns to discover
• A story line that is worth playing

Disadvantages

• Towns have a very similar feel
• Not a very large map

Batman Arkham City

Its great, Batman is awesome as you have the feeling that you are in control, you feel like it is your city, they cannot kill you, they being the villans of course. But it is a game like that, although it is a hard game you have the feeling of control, this might be because of the cool gadgets or the fact that you can fly, but you feel like you could kill everyone if you had to. I have to say i loved playing batman as it gave me a good feeling inside, it was like a hole was filled that day and now i feel great, i am playing it for the second time right now because i feel like i didn’t take it all in, it is so detailed and amazing that you always feel you have missed something.

What to say, what to say. Batman is amazing and the thing that i really like about it are the gadgets you get, i mean there is nothing better than having amazing gadgets which you can use to kill or tease your enemies with, it stands out for me how they must have spent a long time on these weapons, deciding what they are and what they do, and even what they look like. But i believe that they really hit the nail on the head with the weapons, i mean it is great how cool they are and i can not stop thinking about them. I would also like to mention how it is probably the best game based on a film, i mean most games based on films are normally very bad graphics and bad gameplay, this is due to the fact that they are rushed but i tell you batman was not rushed. Batman was a work of art that was created by an incredible team of people, i promise you if you haven’t played it, it is worth playing, i mean the landscape is amazing, the gameplay is amazing and the plot is amazing. I can barely fault this game and i am sure that you will think the same.

• Great characters
• Big versatility in gameplay
• Big diverse landscape

Disadvantages-

• Battles can take a while
• Lack of side quests

Gears of War 3

Wow, what a game, i mean how many games are this amazing and addicting to play online excluding PC. Gears of war 3 is unique in the fact it is not your regular shooter, it is bolder, bigger and gorier than any other game i have played that is a shooter. I mean sure there is sometimes lag online but it is still a unique experience in the fact that you actually get involved in the game, it is not all sniping and one shot one kill.

Something about Gears of war 3 that strikes me as great is the brutal gore it includes, you can splatter people all over the walls and floors, you do not fall onto the ground, you fly in every direction when killed. I guess this is what makes it unique, the fact it is so amazing and fun when you kill someone, you get a feel of pride from splattering someone across the room,  i guess  this is why i love online, it is a challenge worth trying. You struggle sometimes and dominate others, so please if you have not tried it, just try it for me and i ensure you if you have good internet connection you will love it. Also the unique game modes ensure it that everyone will have a game mode they will like whether it be “king of the hill” or “team deathmatch” they are all different. Also to make sure you do not get bored, there are new events every few weeks with there own unique rules and regulations. Finally i would like to mention the new maps  that are released every few months, they are not just the same maps in different colours, they have different advantages and different disadvantages for each map, and this is another reason to love it.

Advantages-

• Gore included in the game
• Unique weapons and big variety
• Range of maps
• Amazing story mode
• Endless hours of online fun
• Involvement in online challenges
• It is a game where you can make friends

Disadvantages-

• Can experience lag online
• Can sometimes feel repetitive

But still i love this game and it might be the game i have played most in my life as i cannot get enough online fun, even though i experience lag due to my internet network it does not prevent me from having a fun time.
